Proudly the smallest — and only — artisan producer of Stilton in the world, Hartington Creamery crafts its award-winning cheese entirely by hand. Each wheel is carefully pierced and matured for nine weeks, developing the signature tangy-yet-creamy character that makes our Blue Stilton so distinctive.
This exceptional cheese pairs beautifully with crisp celery, ripe pears, and a variety of fresh fruits. It’s equally at home in the kitchen — enriching sauces, elevating meat dishes — or taking centre stage on a cheeseboard alongside a fine bottle of port or robust red wine.
Every Hartington Stilton is made under the strict quality license of the Stilton Makers Association and proudly holds UK Protected Designation of Origin status. Nestled in the picturesque village of Hartington in the Derbyshire Dales, The creamery at Pikehall Farm is the only place outside Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire permitted to produce Stilton. Using only the finest local milk, we uphold generations of tradition to create a cheese worthy of its heritage.
